05/2014 Alameda County Report - FITTERSby Robbie Nash (eff 1/15/16) on 08/22/14
Therma has been awarded the Seagate Tenant Improvement Project in Fremont. Demolition will begin the second week of May and they expect to hire around the second week of July. Currently, they have enough manpower to facilitate the demo, so they will not be hiring for that portion of work. This job should hire 30-40 of our members. This is expected to be about a 10-month project.
As per our pre-job, the general contractor, Rudolf and Sletton, is requiring Therma to have all their employees be OSHA 10 certified. You must have the OSHA 10 certificate in order to be dispatched to this job.
It is also recommended that you get your orbital welding and tube bending certifications. Please call the Training Center at (925) 686-0730 to sign up for OSHA 10 and/or any other classes you are interested in. See you at the next meeting!
